Is there any way to tell whether or not this a V2? I have it up for grabs for a steal, and I want it if it is. Thanks guys.

The only way I know to tell is taking it apart and looking at the trigger housing, though I'm not sure if they made the Military version with the Version 1. Might be something for you to look in to.

Unfortunately, it's not in my hands yet (trying to determine it's a V2 before I buy it), so I can't take it apart. I asked the current owner about the adjustable hop up, the only other way to tell (that I know of).

I believe the packaging, if anything, gives it away as a V2. I remember the old M24's came in simple brown boxes with "M24 Socom" written on them. I'm having trouble locating a photo at the moment, thought I had one here somewhere..
